INGREDIENTS

· 4.5 cl of gin with hints of salt

· Alpex Italian Taste Tonic Water

· Lemon peel

· A sprig of fresh thyme

PREPARATION

Fill a balloon glass with ice cubes, add salty gin and pour Alpex Italian Taste Tonic Water. Cut a lemon twist and squeeze it. Garnish with a sprig of fresh thyme.

Bartender’s tips

1. Always cool the glass before preparing the cocktail to prevent the ice from melting immediately.
2. Mix the drink from the bottom to the top a few times so as to mix the liquids and not lose effervescence.

Food Pairing

Spaghetti with clams and bottarga. This tasty main course inspired by Sardinian culinary tradition goes perfectly with the taste of a salty Alpex.
Oysters. Naturally they’re already perfect; add two drops of lemon or a pinch of pepper to taste.
Crouton with raspberry and anchovy. Cut and toast the bread into small slices suitable for a small crouton and spread some good butter on top, add the anchovy and complete by placing a fresh raspberry on top.
