Alpex drinks follow the Plose tradition of drinks produced at the highest levels of quality.

The best ingredients from all over the world have been carefully selected and used to offer the best in cocktail preparation, with unique and unexpected aromatic notes. Without sweeteners, preservatives or dyes.

QUININE

Quinine was first extracted from the bark of the cinchona tree (Cinchona officinalis) in 1817 as an antimalarial drug.

It immediately aroused great interest from a liqueur and herbalist point of view for its antimalarial and antiseptic properties. Its characteristic bitter taste, which at first was thought to be a flaw, turned out to be its draw when mixed with sparkling water it gave birth to tonic waters.

The quinine used in Alpex tonics, from South America, is of the highest quality, and provides a strong and clean taste with a bitter note.

GINGER

A herbaceous plant of the Zingiberaceae family native to the Far East, whose rhizome has been used since ancient times to flavour foods and drinks. It has stimulating, digestive, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

Its peculiar spicy taste is expressed perfectly in Alpex Ginger Beer and Ginger Ale, and forms the base of some of the most famous cocktails in the world.

In Alpex Ginger Beer and Ginger Ale, the highest quality ginger is added and mixed to enhance the characteristics of the drink: freshness in Ginger Beer, spiciness in Ginger Ale.

CITRUS FRUITS

Nowadays considered typical fruits of the Mediterranean area, citrus fruits have been present in people’s lives for centuries.

Rich in organic acids, minerals, calcium, potassium, magnesium, iron and vitamins, thanks to their properties and aroma today they are a must in the preparation of many drinks.

The citrus extracts present in Alpex tonic drinks are carefully selected and dosed to naturally improve the freshness and aroma of each drink and to provide the best mixer for the preparation of numerous cocktails.

ROSEMARY

Its name comes from the Latin ‘rosa’ and ‘maris’, meaning ‘rose of the sea’, due to its habit of growing spontaneously on the cliffs overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

A balsamic plant par excellence, known and used since ancient times for its medicinal properties, it has given birth to many legends and recipes due to its ‘magical virtues’.

Even today, some of this magic can be found in the Alpex Italian Taste Tonic Water, with natural Rosemary extract.
