Paloma is a classic Mexican cocktail whose origins were lost in the mists of time, although it seems it was born in the town of Tequila from the hands of Don Javier Delgado Corona, owner and bartender of La Capilla.
It’s characterised by a fresh and aromatic taste that makes it pleasant at any time of the day or night.
The Alpex interpretation is a version with a stronger character thanks to the Premium Taste Bitter Lemon, which replaces the grapefruit soda and the use of real pink grapefruit juice to enhance its flavour.
A cocktail that offers great sensations of freshness and aroma with every sip.
· 60 ml of Alpex Premium Taste Bitter Lemon
· 50 ml of tequila
· 15 ml of lime juice
· 30 ml of pink grapefruit juice
Squeeze the lime juice and strain it. Pour ice, tequila and lime into a tall tumbler, fill it with Alpex Bitter Lemon. Stir lightly and serve.
1 Replace tequila with mezcal for a slightly smoky taste.
2 To give a personal touch to the cocktail and add an extra note of freshness, garnish with a basil leaf.
